The Pantry Café is one of Nenagh’s best-known food emporiums established in 1992 by Gráinne Moylan. A coffee shop that has gained a high profile for selling fresh homemade food and delivering gourmet outside catering, including real hams, organic vegetables and salads, wholemeal bread and scones, organic salad plates, hot lunches, fresh sandwiches and wraps and an array of delicious desserts for sit down or take away. In good weather why not sit outside and enjoy a fresh smoothie.

Considered one of Nenagh’s most popular meeting places, from our seasoned food cooked fresh every day to our highly professional outside catering services – The Pantry Café is recommended by all who have experienced its high level of quality, service, and value for money.

With the onset of COVID-19 and 3 lockdowns, Gráinne had to adapt to a new way of working, going from a seated restaurant of 70 both indoors and outdoors to only take away, a new service offering was created. She continues to serve hot lunches and daily specials, a full deli with fresh produce and has upgraded her take away counters stocking a wide range of local artisan Irish businesses on her shelves including her own produce. She now sells her wide range of sauces from her curry sauce, her pantry pasta sauce, to her satay sauce and more.

Seeing a niche in the market for fresh food hamper boxes, the brunch box and the afternoon tea box were created. A fantastic success at Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, available every day at The Pantry and not just for special occasions. She has also started making batch dinners, individually packaged and perfect for the freezer a very popular present for new mums.
