Überblick

This beautiful 13th-century Irish tower-house was once home to the great family of Brehons, the MacEgans. Restored to its former glory from ruins in the 1970s, the castle is now open to the public during the summer. Guided tours detail the castle’s history from its construction to the present.

Ascend the spiral stone staircase to the main banquet halls and bed chambers, visit the private oratory, and take in the beautiful views from the roof-top terrace. On Sundays you can reserve a table for afternoon tea with family or friends.
