Dolmen Loop – Aherlow

This 11km looped walk is the longest of three walk that starts and finish Lisvarrinane village. It is of moderate difficulty and should take 3-3.5 hours to complete.

The highlight of the walk is the ascent of Monour Mountain and then on to the summit of Slievenamuck. Here you pass close to a Megalithic Tomb and have superb views of the Golden Vale, Glen of Aherlow and the Ballyhoura Mountains.
