Set in the heart of Clonmel, on four acres of lush gardens, Raheen House Hotel blends vintage charm with warm hospitality.

This historic house can be traced back with the first mention of Raheen (Rahines) appearing in connection with The Earl of Ormond in the 1600s. The first building documented to have been constructed on the property can be traced back to the time of Cromwell around 1650.The current owners, Elizabeth and John Day, purchased the house in 1989 from the Burke family. After initially living in the house with their three daughters, they decided, on 31 March 1996, to establish Raheen House as a hotel.

This elegant Georgian retreat offers a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere perfect for weddings, gatherings or peaceful getaways. Raheen has 15 individually styled rooms, with some of the rooms, particularly the courtyard rooms, offer openings onto private terraces. The Gate Lodge located on the grounds of Raheen is perfect place for guests looking for a  cottage-style accommodation. The Gate Lodge offers ample sleeping arrangements with a spacious double bedroom, a triple bedroom, and a snug small double sofa bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for all guests.

This elegant room offers a refined setting for both formal and informal occasions, with award-winning chefs crafting inspired dishes using the freshest, locally-sourced ingredients.
