Liam Lynch Loop

This moderate 11km, three-hour walking route on forestry roads takes you along the shoulder of Crohan Mountain and traces a stretch along the Glengalla River. It also takes you within 200m of the round tower monument to Liam Lynch, whose death nearby heralded the end of the Irish Civil War. Views are into the Knockmealdown Mountains and the plains spread below.
