Famine War House

The Famine Warhouse 1848 is a museum dedicated to the Young Irelander Rebellion. It was here that rebels, led by William Smith O’Brien, besieged 47 police officers during a pivotal moment in Irish history. The exhibition provides insights into the rebellion, the Great Famine, and the broader European upheavals of the era.
