SUMMARY:Beauty and The Fool Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Beauty and The Fool Exhibition\nBeauty and the fool by Eugene de Leastar will be displayed at the Linn Art Gallery from the 5/6/26 until 27/6/36. Working between Chioggia\, a coastal town south of Venice and on the foothills of Slievenamon\, Co. Tipperary\, Eugene de Leastar has compiled a series of portraits and nudes\, together with sculptures in bronze and terracotta. In an accompanying story\, ‘Beauty and The Fool’\, the artist relates his works to Dostoevsky’s novel ‘The Idiot’\, where the hero\, on the edge of madness\, briefly perceives the true nature of reality. \nThe Linn Art Gallery\nWednesday – Saturday\n10.30am – 5.30pm \n1st Floor\, The Narrow Space\, 14 Mitchell Street\, Clonmel\, Co. SUMMARY:Changing Natures Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:The Changing Natures exhibition at the Linn Gallery in the Narrow Space\, will be displayed from Friday the 10th of April to Thursday the 16th of May. \nChanging Natures celebrates the artist as an alchemist. It explores the art of transformation\, where natural elements are given new narratives. It examines the power of art to breathe new life into that which might otherwise fade or be forgotten. SUMMARY:Dunne and Hernandez
DESCRIPTION:Dunne and Hernandez\, Saturday 18th July\, 7:30pm\, €20 at the Nenagh Arts Centre \nThe acclaimed Dunne & Hernández Duo return to Irish stages with a reunion tour that promises passion\, virtuosity and unforgettable music. \nMany concert-goers will remember Argentinian guitarist and singer Ariel Hernández and Irish accordionist Dermot Dunne\, who between 2003-2010 brought the vibrant spirit of Latin music to audiences across Ireland\, performing in venues from the National Concert Hall to Belfast Opera House and Vicar Street. Their unique partnership blends Ariel’s soulful voice and masterful guitar playing with Dermot’s instrumental brilliance\, moving seamlessly from the drama of Tango to the rich traditions of Chacarera\, Zamba and Chamamé. \nAfter returning to Argentina in 2010\, Ariel settled in the artistic region of Carpintería\, immersing himself in its deeply rooted musical traditions\, recording extensively and performing at festivals throughout the region. \nTheir debut album P’al que se va takes its name from a song about journeys and homecoming\, a fitting sentiment as Ariel now returns to Ireland to reunite with Dermot. Following a hugely successful Irish tour in 2025\, the duo once again take to the road\, performing the dances and songs of Argentina alongside beloved classics\, from the baroque era to iconic cinema scores. \nAn evening of warmth\, rhythm and world-class musicianship awaits.
