Knockmealdown Crossing 2026

Three walks with all levels of fitness catered for. Check-in for all walks will be in the Community Hall Newcastle. E91 C3V9 Buses will transport you to the start of the various walks. €40 entry fee to include transport and hot meal.

Walkers must be over 18 years of age to participate.
All walkers are advised to have suitable footwear, raingear, hats, gloves, food and drink and also a change of clothes
for back at base.

This is a one day event, incorporating 3 walks, over the Knockmealdown Mountains. All levels catered for.
Walk A – Challenge Walk – Distance 33km approx – Height Gain 1,300m
Walk B – Led Walk – Distance 24km approx – Height Gain 1,100m
Walk C – Led Walk – Distance 15km approx – Height Gain 500m
