Knockanacree Woods spans just over 100 acres and is rich in wildlife, including sparrowhawks, red squirrels, foxes, and badgers. The trail is especially stunning in spring, when bluebells and wild garlic burst into bloom. Beech trees dominate the landscape, lending the trail its name. These towering trees cluster together to form a breathtaking, cathedral-like canopy that enhances the woodland’s serene atmosphere.
