Starting from the bustling town of Clonmel home of the South Tipperary Arts Centre, the centre has regular theatre, concerts and exhibitions.
Another attraction is the Main Guard in the centre of Clonmel.
This is a building of historical importance and dates back to between 1673 and 1684.

Clonmel Racecourse has a busy calendar of events. Take the R680 to Carrick-on-Suir and visit Ormond Castle.

East along the N24 Waterford City is the region's vibrant, cosmopolitan capital, with great shopping and dining.
This city has many great festivals throughout the year to keep visitors entertained and a wealth of historic and contemporary visitor attractions including 'The House of Waterford Crystal' & 'Waterford Museum of Treasures'.
The Edmund Rice Centre and Reginald's Tower. This historic building is still standing proud after more than a thousand years.

Leaving the city, head south to Dunmore East and west along the stunning R675 coast road to Tramore, with 5 kilometres of sandy beach and activities, ranging from surfing, sailing and kayaking, to cliff walks and golf. From Tramore, travel along one of Ireland most scenic drives 'The Copper Coast' and visit the European Geo Park en route to Dungarvan, a thriving seaside town and home to Dungarvan Castle and town museum.

Cappoquin offers scenic walks, angling and Cappoquin House and gardens are open to the public at set times and Tourin House and Gardens are open between April and September.

The beautiful town of Lismore, has many attractions, Lismore Castle and Gardens, The Lismore Heritage Centre and the Immrama Lismore Festival of Travel Writers takes place in June every year.
Just north of the town is The Vee, a wonderful scenic spot at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains.
The Vee offers stunning views across the region's rich countryside.
