A mature, award winning garden on one acre with a variety of trees, shrubs, roses and herbaceous perennials; in springtime the garden boasts some 30 varieties of daffodils.

This award-winning garden was started 30 years ago by Tom and Kathleen Sheedy. Their enthusiasm for gardening will be clear to any visitors to this private garden. Over the years, they have gathered plants from around Ireland. Visitors will be greeted by a wide variety of trees, shrubs and herbaceous perennials. For example there are over 30 varieties of daffodil in this garden. There are also interesting features like a fish pond as well as an impressive hydrangea bed and a rose garden with over 300 roses.

The garden covers 1 acre. It is meticulously kept and is deceptively spacious. Several areas are connected by clematis-covered archways. The garden is perfect for the enthusiast who wants to see a range of interesting plants without having to walk too far. In fact there are plenty of garden benches, allowing visitors to sit and admire the planting. Kathleen and Tom hold seasonal plant sales in aid of local charities.
