Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre
Tipperary Mountain Trekking Centre is based at Rusheen, Borrisoleigh, Tipperary, Ireland. We provide pony trekking in Tipperary as well as Trail rides through the mountains and some of the finest off road horse riding you will experience in Ireland or anywhere in Europe. This centre is accredited by Failte Ireland for Equestrian Tourism, as well as by the Association of Irish Riding Establishments.

We specialise in Horse Riding Lessons for novices and riding lessons for children, Horse Riding Treks, Horse Riding Holidays and Residential and Non-Residential Summer Camps for children who want to immerse themselves in the horsey lifestyle. Livery facilities are available for customers who would like a weekend break in the country with their horse.

We cater for all levels of expertise from novices to expert riders and can provide facilities for children and school parties. We run intensive residential programmes for individuals who want to learn all about horses and horse-riding from scratch. We are committed to using natural horsemanship techniques in the training of horses and riders. As well as training our own horses we advise and assist owners with problem horses.

We are committed to ethical tourism and our riding holidays are approved by Responsible Travel and It's a Green Green World. We provide Failte Ireland approved farmhouse accommodation and either B&B or full-board catering for people who want to stay with us.

There are fantastic opportunities for hill walking locally, not only from our own back yard but also for guided walks in nearby Upperchurch. Or you can ramble on your own over the Devil's Bit near Borrisoleigh or through the beautiful Silvermines forest. So if your preference is for two feet rather than four, or even a combination of both, you will find fantastic opportunities here to relax and enjoy the spectacular countryside.
