Seymour Organic Farm
We produce lamb and beef organically all year round which is sold directly to consumers. The farm is organic since 1999, has the Bord Bia Quality Assurance mark and is recommended by the Bridgestone Guide. The full range of meat cuts, as well as lamb burgers and sausages, and beef sausages, is available to consumers.

Michael Seymour, his wife Olive, daughter Lauren & Aunt Ebee live on this 130 acre farm. Michael’s great grandfather bought the land in the 1800’s & it has been farmed traditionally ever since. The farm boasts limestone pastures which are rich in old grasses, wild herbs & clover. These bio diverse pastures allow the Angus cattle & Texel lambs to mature naturally and produce meat with a delicious traditional flavour.

Filled with mature hedgerows of  hawthorn, blackthorn and hazel interspersed with damson and crab apple trees, Sheepwalk Organic Farm provides the livestock with natural shelter in the winter & shade in the summer. The Ballyfinboy River, a tributary of the Shannon, flows tranquilly through the fields completing the idyllic setting for organic husbandry.
